Sales Ledger / Credit Control Clerk Vacancy

An immediate opportunity has arisen in our Finance department for a Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk dealing with the day-to-day sales ledger accounts and the monitoring of credit control.

Other duties will include reporting and general accounts admin.

The ideal candidate should be studying towards a professional qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) and have some previous experience in sales ledger and or credit control. (We would be willing to consider an applicant with no professional qualifications providing they had the competencies as detailed below and were willing to study towards such qualifications).

Competencies include having strong numeracy skills, a good working knowledge of Excel, excellent communications skills, high accuracy levels, working to strict deadlines and the ability to work well as part of a team. Experience in SAP would be a benefit, however full inhouse training will be provided.

Normal hours of work are 37.50 per week, Monday to Friday, but some flexibility may be required on occasion.
